Back in 2009, long before Arrington Aviary took shape, we took in a group of abandoned ducklings that needed a safe, predator-proof run before their release onto the water at Wimpole. The enclosure we put together in the garden quickly caught the eye of neighbours, who asked if we could build similar housing for their budgerigars. What began as a practical rescue effort grew purely by word of mouth, laying the groundwork for the aviaries, catios, and animal runs we hand-build today.
